Can someone help me ? Thanks…
(my g1s is replaced by g1sn mobo with NV 9500gs 512mb, memory 4gig, bios 202, enhanced sata)
Hi!
This might be related to BIOS problem. Please see Upgrading G1S BIOS for how to upgrade the BIOS to version 300.
Before you upgrade, you may want to test if the problem disappears when you use just 2GB/3GB RAM. If the problem disappears using less then 4GB RAM, the you need to upgrade the BIOS.

So the question now " Is the bios G1s working on G1sn ??? " theres nothing i found in the bios section of G1sn on ASUS website…… (i dont want to"BRICK" my laptop) ….. So i really need ur guide man once again… :)
THAAANNNKKKKSSS…..
Hi,
Unfortunately G1S and G1Sn BIOS's are *not* compatible. Worse, it seems that there is no updated BIOS available for G1Sn. See Bios for G1Sn and G1S in Asus Forum.
So, it seems that you need to operate your G1Sn with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Having 3GB is not that bad after all, when using a 32-bit operating system. Yes, I know, it bugs anyway not being able to use full 4GB of RAM.
