Has anyone tested the new beta-driver from nvidia? i think its 179.28 beta.
i now use the first version from asus 101.19. every new driver, i tried reduce my results about 1000 points.
Now i want to know if the official beta-driver from nvidia is better than the drivers from Asus or laptopvideo.

well i have tried the 175.70 and now 4800 3dmarks06… this restuls are WITH ORIGINAL INF… with modded infs only shows 4400points…

I donwload the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com and when exec the .exe, in the folder are a file "original_inf(s).zip"… unzip ALL the files (only wokrs 1,but i dont see the name :P) into drivers folders and run setup.exe

You can download the 174.74 and 175.70 from nvidia.com (this drivers works whit 8600gt without modds)

Well i don´t know why 3dmark06 shows 8600m gs… since I didn´t use ASUS drivers it shows 8600m gs…

@lord_neno: What resolution did you run that test with? Also, in the pictures you posted - 3DMark06 is showing you have a GeForce GO 8600m GS, why is that? What .inf did you use? Was it one from the original_inf.zip file? If so, what was the exact name of that .inf file? There are a TON of other .inf's in there. Reason I'm asking is - I tried to duplicate your results, and couldn't even come close.
